This is a ships night out at Dirty Dicks in Sydney4th April, 1992. We took a bus to the venue, there would have been at lest 10 - 15 couples. During the night we had to choose who would get up and sing a ditty, this meant that all the couples could eat. We first put on the dirty dicks bib and hat. My partner at the time did a good job. Everyone had a great time there was much laughter and ribbing between the boy. The floor show was fantastic.

I have allowed my 8 year old grandson to splatter the paint over the page and I did around the edges of the picture. As well as that we inked around the butterflies. Also, I have journalled on a green tag.
My grandson also helped me paper punch the edges, not always straight and neat but we do it together. I always ask him if it looks alright, typical boy he says sure nan. Well it is a team eftect.

This is the year Australia 1988 the Bicentennial Year, this is the tmme my mum, brother and nephew came to stay for the celebrations. On the 26th January we travelled to H.M.A.S Watson naval base to get a good position to watch the re-enactment of the tallships coming into Sydney. We were right of the point to the entrance of the habour. There were hundreds of modern boats escorting the tallships to Darling Habour wharfes. The atmosphere of the crowd where we were was amazing, as most of them being sailors, the love and appreciation of the boats and the sea knew no bounds, and some of the tall tails thaat were floating around. wow.A history lesson of tieing knots they tired were amazing.
In these photo's were three important people to me.
