TCR PALETTE #105
TITLE:- PORTRAITS OF THE PAST

This is the year Australia 1988 the Bicentennial Year, this is the tmme my mum, brother and nephew came to stay for the celebrations.  On the 26th January we travelled to H.M.A.S Watson naval base to get a good position to watch the re-enactment of the tallships coming into Sydney. We were right of the point to the entrance of the habour. There were hundreds of modern boats escorting the tallships to Darling Habour wharfes. The atmosphere of the crowd where we were was amazing, as most of them being sailors,  the love and appreciation of the boats and the sea knew no bounds, and some of the tall tails thaat were floating around. wow.A history lesson of tieing knots  they tired were amazing.
